I smell her sweet aroma nearby,
Feel her hunger growing stronger,
Knowing she can't hold back anymore,
I offer my neck, my blood to her.
Smiling she pulls me close to her,
Kisses me softly as thanks for my pain,
Fangs sinking into my neck,
Blood pours into her thirsty mouth.
Blackness swallows me whole,
Pain courses through my body,
I awaken to her worried face,
She fears she may have drank too much.
I reassure her that i am fine,
I have willingly offered her my very essence,
She knows our love is forbidden,
But we cannot live without each other.
She is a vampire, hunter of the night,
I am a human, walker of the day,
My bloo
Standing proud and strong upon the hill,
Fields of crops surrounding its walls,
Small cottages lying scarce in the fields,
Men plowing while children play,
Cows grazing in rich green pastures,
Sheep being relieved of their thick wool,
Horses being saddled and prepared for journey,
Knights preparing to embark for afar,
Smoke billowing from stone chimneys,
The smell of stew filling the air,
Wafting upwards towards the hills crown,
Blocked out by an impenetrable wall,
The wall of the highest tower,
Rising high above the other walls,
Topped by a balcony with rails,
A man stands watching the village,
He is adorned with a deep purpl
Hatred brewing deep inside,
Our bodies taken by surprise,
We can no longer keep control,
Death is calling out the roll.
Anger dwelling in our hearts,
Our minds broken into small parts,
Lashing out at all around,
Sending men six feet in the ground.
Desperation grips our mind,
Leaving all rationally behind,
A small effort to leave a man dead,
Lying still a bullet in his head.
So easy to die in our daily life,
One small error brings great strife,
We do not realize how lucky we are,
To live each day without death's tar.
Death surrounds us everyday,
His toll one day we all shall pay,
One day we all will die,
So be happy in life
Two hearts beating as one,
Two souls joined together,
Fates intertwined,
Completely in love.
Two people giving everything,
Two lives bound together,
Loving forever,
Giving all to the other.
Two lovers living happily,
Two sparks are one flame,
Burning brightly,
Neither can live without the other.
We choose our paths,
Our destinies are not permanent,
They can be changed,
The smallest action affects our fate,
Death is unavoidable,
We will all know its embrace,
But how we get there is ours to choose,
We control how we live our lives,
Nobody else can make our choices,
We will love who we want,
Hurt who we wish,
Care for those we deem worthy,
And hate those we decide to,
We are all lost in a vast maze,
There are thousands of ways out,
We just have to pick a path,
Every path leads to an exit,
We all escape the maze called Life.
Fighting is useless,
Change will come,
It cannot be stopped,
No point in resisting,
Its a part of life,
Always happening,
The clock is always ticking,
Counting the minutes to our feeble lives,
Watching us laugh, cry, live, and die,
The only witness to this thing called life,
Uncaring and unforgiving,
Emotionless and unresponsive,
Alive and yet not alive,
Time keeps passing us by,
Always rushing towards the end,
Never once turning back,
It is inescapable,
Unavoidable,
Everlasting.
Blood dripping from drawn swords,
Armor painted dark red,
Neither side willing to submit,
Pride will kill them both.
An endless dance of macabre death,
Submerged in hatred's chilling flames,
Blood boiling in exhausted bodies,
Anger will be their downfall.
Night is coming on their weary dance,
The participants strained to their breaking points,
barely able to stay on their feet,
Death will claim both tonight.
Two intertwined fates severed at once,
Rushing into the afterlife together,
Opening death's gate side by side,
Enemies in death now friends in life.
Spiraling into my own little Hell,
Nightmares coming true,
fears alive and hunting me,
Death will not come,
Tortured within my own mind,
being psychologically broken down,
There is no escape,
Hope has long since retreated,
Faith broken long ago,
My mind shattered a long time past.
This darkness never ends,
The screams echo in my head,
the pain unbearable,
I won't make it out alive,
I won't make it out at all,
It has me in its grasp,
never loosening its grip,
I am the prize
Forever here ill dwell,
Fiction has become reality.
Racing through the dark,
Trees a blur in the moonlight,
The ground flying by at full speed,
Hearts beating somewhere ahead,
fluttering with sheer terror,
Death is upon them,
The full moon has come.
The silver moon sinking low,
Signalling the time to leave the wild,
Civilization beckons to me,
Calling me away from the beast,
The urge to feed fading,
Slowly the change begins,
The sun has risen.
Walking with two legs instead of four,
Blending in with the rest,
All oblivious to my other side,
Nobody is allowed to know,
I am doomed if they discover me,
Condemned to die if my secret is known,
Forced to live two lives.
I smell her sweet aroma nearby,
Feel her hunger growing stronger,
Knowing she can't hold back anymore,
I offer my neck, my blood to her.
Smiling she pulls me close to her,
Kisses me softly as thanks for my pain,
