Falling down deeper and deeper,
No one to save me,
I am alone.
A light at the end,
Barely there; almost fading,
Reaching out for me,
I have hope.
A shadow in the light,
Hands reaching out for me,
Grasping at my soul,
I am wanted.
A heart beating again,
Almost dead but alive,
Struggling to contain itself,
I know love.
